Auas Safari Lodge

First encounter with Nature

Less than an hour’s drive from Hosea Kutako Airport lies a piece of paradise in the shade of the Auas Mountains. Fourteen well-appointed luxury rooms with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces offer respite after a long flight or a hard week’s work. Early evenings are spent sipping drinks on the veranda as the sun sets over the African savannah. The abundant bird and animal species provide endless opportunities for capturing striking photographs. Sunbathing by the pool is perfect for relaxation. 

Fish River Lodge

On the edge of Eternity

Fish River Lodge is the only lodge situated directly on the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. From sunrise to sunset, visitors enjoy breath-taking views of this geological wonder.  The twenty chalets are perched on the brink of the canyon, far enough from each other to ensure peaceful exclusivity for all guests. Hiking and cycling trails through the canyon lead to rock pools that attract a wide variety of endemic wildlife. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the various guided expeditions offered from April to September.

Grootberg Lodge

In the Footprints of Giants

Your hosts at Grootberg Lodge are members of the conservancy in which the lodge is located. Enjoy a sundowner on the deck or a swim in the pool. The rooms are comfortably appointed and blend into the surroundings. Through active conservation, black rhino and desert elephant still freely roam the land. Explore the landscape, rich in geological and botanical wonders, encounter stunning wildlife and get acquainted with the traditions of the #Khoadi//Hoas people.

Hoada Campsite

Between a rock and a hard place

Hidden among large grey granite boulders and mopane trees, Hoada Campsite has the trimmings of a serene home in the wilderness. A well-maintained gravel road leads to the camp, located approximately 75 km west of Kamanjab. Pitch your tent in one of the spacious campsites or book one of our permanent tents. Each site has ample space for roof tents and is equipped with a kitchen area and braai facilities, a flush toilet and an open-air shower with warm water. On hot afternoons, take a dip in the pool nestled between the rocks and enjoy a drink on the wooden decks around it. 

Hobatere Lodge

Become one of the Pride

The lodge is situated in a concession area of 8 808 hectares, which is home to a rich diversity of game, including elephant and lion. With conservation in mind, the lodge is actively involved in promoting the peaceful co-existence of man and nature. Thatched roofs keep the well-appointed chalets cool and offer shade against the heat of the African savannah. Hobatere offers a walk on the wild side and is a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers.

Kunene River Lodge

Venture beyond the banks

The lodge is situated on the bank of the Kunene River which forms the north-western border between Angola and Namibia. A lush canopy of indigenous trees provides shade for chalets and campsites, while the swimming pool has its spot on the sunny lawn. From the bar and restaurant, a deck extends over the river, making for a spectacular location to enjoy a drink or a delicious meal with overlooking the river opportunities to boot. 

Shipwreck Lodge

Unravel the mystery

Shipwreck Lodge, situated amongst dunes with views of the Atlantic Ocean, promises to be an exclusive destination. The shipwrecks that are scattered along the coastline inspired the design of the lodge that opened in June 2018. It is located in the famous Skeleton Coast Park between the Huarusib and Hoanib rivers, only 45 km north of Möwe Bay.
