Our Campsites
All six comfortable allocated camp sites can easily accommodate eight persons, with ample designated areas for four tents or vehicles with roof-top tents. Hoada Campsite also offers 2 group camps for bigger traveling parties. The Group campsites can take up to 14 guests and have male & female ablution facilities.
Our Tented Camps
Our four tented camps sleep two people per tent and is the epitome of leisurely camping with comfortable beds and private ablution facilities.
After a day exploring the nearby attractions, return to camp where a splash pool is incorporated in the natural rocks of the area, beckons on hot afternoons and drinks can be enjoyed on the natural wooden decks around it.
With our eye on nature conservation, the campsites were carefully designed to minimise the impact on the environment while still providing a comfortable experience.
Camping under the stars is a unique adventure. Sheltered amongst the imposing boulders and indigenous trees shading the tents, nights can be spent around the fire before retiring to bed.

Hoada Campsite is the perfect stop-over for exploring the North- Western regions of Namibia. The area is home to a large variety of flora, wildlife and geological wonders. Including desert elephant, rhino and lion.
Drive along the Grootberg Pass, only 20 minutes from the campsite, on your way to Grootberg Lodge. You could be lucky enough to spot elephants in the distance on your short drive to the lodge.
At Twyfelfontein, 2 hours to the south of Hoada, you can visit the site of ancient rock engravings dating back thousands of years and reflect on the geological wonders of the area. Visit Fort Sesfontein (2 hour drive) which was built in 1896 and has recently been reconstructed to accommodate guests.
